What is a Side Gusset Pouch?

Side Gusset pouches are easy to fill and ideal for securely containing contents without resealable capabilities.  When content is applied the side gussets expand which creates stability.  Side Gusset pouches are designed to be heat sealed closed for optimum airtight freshness, but they can also be rolled or folded and secured with tin ties, clips, tape or labels.

In addition to their versatility, Side Gusset packaging, as with Bottom Gusset Stand Up Pouch packaging are often favoured for their reduced environmental impacts due to the lightweight composition compared to jars, bottles, tubs, and tins for example.  This allows them to be easily transportable whilst lowering carbon footprints resulting in lower shipment costs and they store flat which benefits customers with limited storage facilities.
